I mean we will cook because there are people involved, but goodness gracious as the kids get older and busier and life is bonkers, WE NEED CONFIDENCE AND EASE PEOPLE! Hello, drive thru and take out. We love you, right?

It was slightly terrifying and fun to have the fabulous "KK" on our show to talk about all things cooking. We laughed. We felt confident. We even planned a real live "lets get in the kitchen together over the summer and cook real food."

This is a huge conversation people. Tell us we aren't alone. Hopefully there is a video coming at some point of the summer cooking extravaganza that will give you maybe the nudge you need to get back into the kitchen or introduce yourself to her for the first time.

Enjoy this episode of "Cooking with KK."

We love you guys!

<![CDATA[Susie Said So!!]]>Mon, 10 Apr 2023 22:46:37 GMThttp://ramblingthrougheverydaylife.com/podcast/susie-said-soA big ole WELCOME to our new correspondent (we don't know what else to call this gloriousness) Susie Oliver!!! Who is Susie? What is she telling me? Why should I trust her?

Oh, friends. Take a fun listen and then let us know if you have any questions at all. :)

She helps us with all manner of things! How about a list? Who doesn't love a list?

What about the fabulous Perbelle CC Cream? Y'all, it's magic and we love it! If you are "aging" this cream is a must have.

Let's talk Flutter Habit eyelashes. We are scared, but we aren't scared. Be looking for a video of how to apply with Susie.

Maybe you are in need of a sugar detox? Me too. This is a great read and Susie not only says so, she swears by it.

And here are some of her favorite influencers:
Taryn Newton
Loverly Grey
Phillip or Flop
Shop Dandy

Ok, let us know what you think and be looking for more "Susie Said So" this summer!

<![CDATA[Our story, anxiety and depression with Pastor and Counselor, Will Chenault]]>Tue, 21 Mar 2023 00:01:03 GMThttp://ramblingthrougheverydaylife.com/podcast/our-story-anxiety-and-depression-with-pastor-and-counselor-will-chenaultWhat a gift to talk with our friend, Will, in these two hard but necessary conversations.

Some days you just have to decide to grab your goggles and dive right into the deep end and keep swimming no matter what. That is exactly what we did with our friend, pastor and counselor. Those two titles can terrify you, and we sure do get that, but Will is so humble, kind, gentle, honest, and oh-so helpful. You trust him immediately and you want to hear what he has to say.

We talked about the power of knowing and understanding our story (episode 1) and then we talked about figuring out the difference between anxiety and depression and what do we do with those two very common words in today's world. That was the 2nd episode.

See....this is deep end swimming folks. It's important thought, right? Yes, we can listen to hard things and when we are ready, we can do hard things.

Let us know what you think, ok? You can listen to the episode about your story here and you can listen to the episode about anxiety and depression here.

Thank you for letting us serve you week after week. We thank God for you. We thank God for Will Chenault.

Keep pressing on friends. We are truly better together.
Fran and Angela

<![CDATA[What we wish we knew sooner in life]]>Thu, 16 Mar 2023 22:30:00 GMThttp://ramblingthrougheverydaylife.com/podcast/what-we-wish-we-knew-sooner-in-lifeIt's always fun to talk about "Gosh, I wish I knew that when I was in college or in my 20's or heck even yesterday!" For a couple of old ladies, we sure have experienced a lot and learned a lot that we don't want to keep to ourselves. We can honor our stories by sharing a few things along the way, right?

We don't need to look back on our lives with lingering regret, but instead we can ask God for opportunity to share with others what we "wish we knew when." With each year of our lives there is something we can pass along to someone else, right? DO IT, FRIENDS!! What do you know and who can you sit down and share your experiences with?

As you listen, maybe you can resonate with some of these things we have learned or maybe there are some nuggets of wisdom you can glean from. No matter what, we are here to encourage you and build you up in your faith.

We sure do love y'all. Thank you for faithfully listening each week. It is pure joy to serve you with each episode.

<![CDATA[HAPPY ONE HUNDRED!!!]]>Mon, 13 Mar 2023 22:00:00 GMThttp://ramblingthrougheverydaylife.com/podcast/happy-one-hundredWhat even the heck? One day you decide to start rambling into a couple of microphones because you think you have something fun and meaningful to share and the next minute you are celebrating your 100th episode! Where did all that fun time go? I'll tell you where it went. We learned a thing or 50 and kept going even through blood, sweat and cuss words.

We didn't set out to have 100 episodes. We set out to have a few episodes because in some weird way we felt like the conversations we had, and still have on Voxer, are worth listening to. And here we are ladies and gentlemen.....a podcast. One hundred episodes in and we still have a podcast that more than a couple of people listen to.

We are proud of how far we have come. We are proud of what we talk about. We are proud to serve our faithful listeners and encourage them along the way during this wild life we are all trying to navigate. We love Jesus. We love people. We love this wild world. We want to have fun while honoring the Lord and we think maybe you do to. So, here we are.

Thank you for listening! Enjoy this super fun episode with our dear friend and podcast extraordinaire, Ted Kluck.

We love you guys!

<![CDATA[The Creative Places We Will Go with Robyn Newman]]>Sun, 12 Mar 2023 21:44:55 GMThttp://ramblingthrougheverydaylife.com/podcast/the-creative-places-we-will-go-with-robyn-newmanThis is such a fun conversation to eavesdrop on. Are we all creative? Where did Robyn's creativity come from? When did she notice she had a gift and love for somthing not everyone may have? How has the Lord developed this love for creativity and given her one opportunity after another to develop it and use it for His Kingdom?
Robyn takes us on creative twists and turns and causes us to wonder if we are maybe capable of being more creative than we think! We laugh, we remember, and we see the hand of God as He directs each creative step in her life. Isn't that the most fun of all? To see God move in the life of another?

This episode is life-giving and hopeful and possibly, just possibly, stirs us a wild desire to run to Hobby Lobby and buy paint and brushes and glue guns and glitter! :)

You can listen to the episode by clicking here.

As always, let us know what you think!
We love serving you.
